LEGA CALCIO SERIE A 2009/2010
Player Ratings: Milan 0-0 Bari
Milan
Storari – 8.5: Continued his fine form in between the sticks, as he was rewarded with another clean sheet. Made an outstanding save to deny Bonucci on 35 minutes, and then on Donati early in the second half, before a goal saving effort less than 15 minutes from time to keep out an effort from the substitute Meggiorini.
Abate – 7: Shining light for the Rossoneri, who defended solidly and worked his way forward on many occasions - sometimes a few too many. Sent in a number of dangerous balls into the area, and had the chance to open the scoring on 78 minutes.
Nesta – 7: Respectable performance by the experienced defender, however the pace of Barreto and Kutuzov was an issue for him at times.
Kaladze – 7: Made a goal saving header to deny Barreto the chance to knock in a goal from a Kutuzov cross on just six minutes, and looked comfortable throughout.
Zambrotta– 6.5: Held his own on the left; however he failed to get forward as often as he would have liked to tonight.
Gattuso – 5.5: Imposed himself physically as per usual, although his impact was minimal. Had a rare long range effort on goal on 43 minutes that flew just over the bar.
Pirlo – 6: Saw an outstanding effort from a free kick well dealt with by Gillet, however similar to Gattuso, he just could not get himself into the match.
Ambrosini – 5.5: Extremely clumsy early on, as he was booked and gave away a free kick in a dangerous position. Worked his way into it as time went on, but struggled against the talented Bari midfield.
Seedorf – 6: Controlled the play in the first half, and was an integral part of the majority of the Rossoneri attacking movements. Was surprisingly substituted just 10 minutes in to the second half.
Ronaldinho – 5.5: Had his moments tonight, including on 53 minutes when he missed the chance to open the scoring with the goal was at his mercy. Had a powerful drive tipped over the bar by Gillet just five minutes later, before being substituted.
Huntelaar – 5: Barely touched the ball, and therefore had no impact whatsoever in the opening half, and was rightfully substituted early in the second period.
Substitutes
Pato – 7: Lively from the moment of his introduction, and will surely be included from the start in the coming fixtures.
Inzaghi – 6.5: Got himself into the right positions, however his finishing was lacking tonight.
Oddo – 6.5: Provided his attackers with decent service into the area.
