GIORNATA 10 NAPOLI vs AC MILAN 28-10-2009

Player Ratings: Napoli 2-2 AC Milan

AC Milan

Dida: 8.5 - An outstanding night from the erratic goalkeeper. Made at least half-a-dozen top drawer saves and commanded his defence with authority; unlucky not to be on the winning side.

Abate: 4 - Started neatly but went steadily downhill from there. Involved with a fascinating battle with Lavezzi and eventually saw red for two silly fouls.

Nesta: n/a - Disconcerting to see the great man injured again. Hopefully his withdrawal will prove to be only precautionary.

Thiago Silva: 6 - Proved his worth as an emerging force despite initial casualness but was on his heels for Denis' equaliser.

Zambrotta: 5.5 - Offered decent width during Milan's early sorties up-field but saw his attacking enthusiasm curbed as the hosts pressed.

Ambrosini: 6 - Blocked, shielded and helped to soak up the pressure. All in vain though.

Pirlo: 5.5 - A quiet night for the metronomic passer. Outgunned in midfield and could not offer much positivity.

Seedorf: 6.5 - Gave a great assist for fellow old-timer Inzaghi and reminded observers of his exemplary vision whenever he had the chance.

Ronaldinho: 5 - Flickered intermittently; dribbles were flat-footed and largely unsuccessful and he lasted only an hour.

Pato: 7.5 - Took his goal with usual aplomb. Uninvolved for large periods but worried Napoli to the point of distraction whenever he popped up.

Inzaghi: 7 - Another vital contribution from 'Super Pippo'. Always a threat, even when Milan were fenced in, and it is testament to his longevity that he looked disdainful when he was hooked after 70 minutes.

Subs

Kaladze: 4 - Looked decidedly uncomfortable; misread flick-ons and erroneously claimed offsides. Allowed too many shots onto an admittedly inspired Dida's goal.

Flamini: n/a

Borriello: n/a
