Storari: 6 - Made some good stops from distance and did what was required of him. Little chance with the goal.

Oddo: 4.5 - Played Isla onside in the build-up to the goal despite previously being admonished by Nesta for being out of position. Tried to get forward but his crossing was poor yet again - the fact that he can turn out regularly for a Serie A side is remarkable.

Nesta: 7 - Tried to cover for some of his team-mates' mistakes in defence and was unlucky to see his 33rd minute header come back off the crossbar.

Kaladze: 6.5 - Stopped Udinese from having too many forays into his penalty area, but was unable to prevent Di Natale from scoring the game's only goal.

Zambrotta: 5.5 - Got forward well but his crossing was way off tonight. Defensively he was regularly exposed by the pace of the hosts' attack.

Gattuso: 6 - He was comfortable on the ball and worked hard in the middle of the pitch, but had a limited impact on the game.

Pirlo: 6 - Uninspiring performance from the Italian international. While he rarely gave away possession with countless passes, his set pieces were somewhat disappointing while he was almost anonymous in attack.

Flamini: 3 - Pulled out of position in the build up to the goal before being recklessly sent off with two yellow cards in quick succession.

Seedorf: 5.5 - Started brightly but dimmed as the game went on. Found himself behind the Udinese defence at the end of the first half, but his shot was well off target.

Inzaghi: 5 - Did not manage a single shot in anger, although he was given little service by the midfield.

Pato: 5.5 - He worked hard up front but, like Inzaghi, was given little to go on. Seemed to pick up a knock in the second half and was substituted for Ronaldinho.

Substitutes

Ronaldinho: 6.5 - Milan's most influential player after his introduction. Played some lovely through balls to his team-mates, but could not take advantage of the free kick he took immediately after coming on.

Abate: 6 - His pace was a breath of fresh air to a stale Milan side and gave the team some much needed width. Slightly off his team-mates' wavelength, but Leonardo must take the youngster into consideration for a starting berth.

Huntelaar: 5.5 - Still looking to end his goal drought, he was unable to impose himself on the game.
