Storari- 7.5: Had nothing to do until the 86th minute, when he made a fantastic save on Mingazzini's long range effort to salvage the three points for his side.

Abate- 6.5: Put himself at the service of the team in a new full-back role and contributed both offensively and defensively.

Nesta- 7.5: He had a relatively quiet evening, but ensured Di Vaio had no time on the ball and gets a bit of an extra rating over Kaladze for his exciting run into the Bologna box when he blew by two defenders. It's official - Nesta is back!

Kaladze- 7: Made an important header late in the match to cut out Zenoni's cross and otherwise had very little to deal with.

Favalli- 6.5: The veteran lent a hand to the defence and also played one or two nice crosses into the box.

Gattuso- 5: Hurried in midfield, but missed an absolute sitter on 13 minutes from Pato's cutback when he was all alone in front on the net.

Pirlo- 6.5: The Italian international was always involved in the play, even if the accuracy of his passes was a bit off. Still, he dictated the pace of the match with ease.

Ambrosini- 7: Recovered plenty of balls in midfield and got the ball forward quickly, getting the assist on the Seedorf's tally. His only 'mistake' is that he does not have the quality of many of his team-mates in the final third when it comes to finishing and ball control.

Seedorf- 8: The Dutchman continued in the playmaker role and has been a massive improvement over Ronaldinho. Creative and incisive, he left Raggi flat-footed on the goal and confident slotted past Viviano on 75 minutes.

Huntelaar- 6: Battled for every ball. However, the Dutchman was watched closely by the Bologna defence after the opening exchanges and could not get much change out of Britos or Portanova.

Pato- 6.5: A frustrating evening for the Brazilian, who was in and out of the match. He made a couple of incredible turns of pace and also hit the post with a daisy cutter in the second-half.

Substitutes

Inzaghi- 6.5: As usual, he made a nuisance of himself and kept the defence busy, bringing two great saves out of Viviano and also slamming the post late on.

Oddo- 6: Slotted in nicely at right-back.
